Status of reporting under the Air Convention
Parties to the Air Convention are invited to report annual emission data by 15th of February and informative inventory reports (IIRs) by 15th of March. The overview tables (see 20YY submission) for individual years present most recent data as submitted to the Air Convention in that year.
Initial and extended checks (S1 and S2)
The inventories (NFR tables) submitted under the Air Convention are annually reviewed by CEIP in line with UNECE Review Guidelines. Feedback is provided to the countries via national contact points before 15th of March (resubmission deadline) and again before the end of March. Parties should reflect on findings within resubmissions and/ or provide comments within four weeks after the receipt of their stage 1 (initial checks) and stage 2 (extended checks) reports.
Explanatory notes to the overview tables (20YY submissions):
- First column lists all Parties to the Air Convention.
- If there is more than one date in a cell the first date always indicates the initial submission and the additional dates indicate resubmissions or additional submissions.
- The NFR download links always provide the latest submission.
- The column "Notification form received" indicates whether the Notification form has been provided to the UNECE Secretariat.
- An empty column indicates that a Party did not submit a particular information in that year.
- In the overview tables only the latest versions of S1 and S2 reports for all Parties are provided and are password protected until the end of May.
